Are these two separate apps?
Yes. Photolio: Contact Manager is a photo-first contact book. Photolio: Group Photo is a standalone app for naming and sharing the people in a group photo. Each has its own app and product page.
Do I need both apps?
No. Each app works independently. Choose Contact Manager for your ongoing connections, or Group Photo for the people inside a photo. Use both only if both fit your needs.
Can I use the same Photolio account?
Yes. You can sign in with the same Photolio account. The apps have different workflows; using one account does not automatically copy all of your contacts, People, or photos between them.
Do people need Group Photo to open my shared photo?
No. Recipients can view a published Group Photo link in their browser without installing the app or signing in. If you require a passcode, they need it to unlock names and interactive regions.
